Please visit http://www.99pledges.com/fund/LHCSpta2020 and search for your student's fundraising page. You do not need to login or change anything. Simply make a donation for whatever you can, and share your participant's link with friends and family via email or social media.
Fundraising: When students receive their first pledge (any amount) they will receive a raffle ticket to win a new Kindle Fire or a Wild Rumpus Gift card. When they raise $50 they will receive a large canvas LHCS totebag. For every $25 in donations they receive beyond $50 they will receive another raffle entry. For example if your student raises $100 they will receive 1 entry for their first pledge, a tote bag, a 2nd raffle entry for raising $75, and a 3rd raffle entry for raising $100. If your student is not collecting online pledges, but, is collecting offline pledges please email Nikki Niermann so their name will be included in the raffle.
Top readers in each grade will win a new bike and helmet courtesy of the Minnesota Masonic Charities and Lake Harriet Lodge.
Kindergarten-5th grade students will read and keep track of the minutes they have read - or minutes read to them by a parent (outside of school time). They may collect pledges as a school fundraiser if they wish. There will be prizes to earn as well as some giveaways. The awards assembly will be on March 26th. The Minnesota Masonic Charities and Lake Harriet Masonic Lodge are once again providing brand new bikes and helmets for the top readers in each grade!!
Parents will need to take an active role in helping their student(s) keep track of the minutes. All minutes read by students (or by parents to students) should be entered on the calendar. ALL calendars must be turned in at the end of the Read-a-Thon. Minutes read in class do not count towards Read-a-Thon goals (unless a teacher holds a "Read In" event and shares it with the Read-A-Thon coordinator).
