** If you are a middle-schooler who "doesn't like to read," I encourage you to find a magazine or comic book/graphic novel that you like.  Reading magazines and comic books is READING, too.  Currently, my favorite magazine is National Geographic, but when I was in middle-school, I mainly read The Uncanny X-Men and Sports Illustrated.  And now, I love reading all kinds of books, magazines, and comic books.  No one hates reading; they just haven't found something they like to read yet.
