This is my secondyear at Lake Harriet Community School and I am excited to be here!  Prior to coming to LHCS, I taught at Loring Community School in North Minneapolis for the past 6 years focusing on 4th and 5th grade math.  I taught at Ramsey International Fine Arts Center for 7 years.  During my time at Ramsey, I taught 7th/8th grade math, 4th grade and served as the Elementary Math Specialist the last two years.  I started my Minnesota teaching career at Webster Open School in NE Minneapolis for 6 years in grades 3 through 6.  Prior to teaching, I worked in the specialty chemical industry as a chemist and a quality control engineer.  I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California, Irvine and a Masters Degree in Business Administration from California State University Fullerton.  I received my teacher certification from Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan and have taught in Michigan, Seattle, and here in Minneapolis.  I am married and have 3 children - ages 13, 15 and 17.
