Taking Medications in School
School personnel can only give medication with the written order of a health care provider that is licensed to prescribe and the written consent of a parent/guardian. A new medication consent form is required at the beginning of each school year and when changes are made to the dosage or time the medication is given.

Medications should be brought to school by a parent/guardian or a responsible adult.
Ask the pharmacist to put the medication in two containers, one for school and one for home.
All medication administered at school will be kept at the health office. If you have any questions or concerns please contact the health office staff.
