Week of September 4

Dear Parents/Guardians,

It was my pleasure to meet your children again last week. I was super lucky because I knew them all. It was a great start.

Students proposed to have homework from Monday to Thursday instead of Tuesday to Friday. I accepted their proposal and I will not to give homework during weekend, so they can spend more times with their families.

This week in Intermediate Algebra we will be studying writing the equation in slope intercept form from the graph, and two points. We will have our first concept check this Friday (Quiz).

Grades will be posted after our first concept check.

I am available this year Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning, everyday during lunch B, and after school by appointment.

Math count:

I am encouraging my students to challenge themselves by joining Math count. It is a great PTA program that increases math reasoning. I will give extra credit to all of my students who join the program.

Here is a message from the program instructor, Mr. Colin Gardner-Springer:

Please direct interested parents to visit our website, http://mathcounts.lakeharrietschool.com/, for information and to sign up. Check the attachments

Math count will start on Wednesday September 12th (a week from tomorrow), at 8:30 am in room (208).

There is another attached flyer about the middle school robotics program.

Our website for this program is https://southwestftc.wordpress.com/.

If you have any questions you can contact me by e-mail anytime.

Thank you very much,
