Experiential Learning activity:  Students will leave the room and re-enter, selecting a place to 'settle'.  They will then describe the area of the classroom in which they chose to "settle."  They will explain why they chose to settle in that area and explain how they could make their chosen area more comfortable in the future.  Building on Chapter 1 (Mapping), students will draw a map of 1 - their current area and 2 - changes they would make to make to improve their area.

Students will read page 21 in their textbook (Introduction) and 22 (Native American Origin Stories).
