Families and community members of Minneapolis Public Schools are invited to attend the first Family Enrichment Network conference on Saturday, Oct. 24 at South High, 3131 19th Ave. S.

The Family Enrichment Network Fall Conference is sponsored by the Minneapolis Public Schools Office of Family Engagement, Early Childhood Education, YMCA Minneapolis, Sylvan Learning Center, Parents United, Minnesota Coalition on Government Information and the Minnesota Department of Education.

Enrichment offerings include:
• Early Childhood Education
• The “How” of Lobbying for School Funding
• Race and Equity
• Parental Rights and Student Data
• What’s New with Math?
• Healthy Students, Better Learners
• Nutrition Education
• Parent Portal – Grades, Attendance and More!
• Beyond the Barriers of Special Education
• English Language Learner Services (facilitated in Hmong, Somali and Spanish)
• Higher Education – College and Financial Aid Education
• Family Fun Activities
