Do you like math puzzles and brain teasers? Are you interested in learning how to solve challenging math problems? If so, consider joining MATHCOUNTS! It is an after-school math club for all interested sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-graders. We’ll investigate ways to approach and solve problems as individuals and groups, learn about math concepts and history, and have a fun time in the process (snacks included!). We’ll also have opportunities for interschool competitions during the year.

For the 2012-13 school year  we are planning on hosting MATHCOUNTS on Wednesdays from 4:25 p.m. to 5:15 p.m., starting on Wednesday, October 3. We will meet in room 112 each week. The program will run until mid-March.  Sign-up information will be sent home in mid-September.
