Kids Voting Minneapolis needs volunteers to conduct the ‘Kids Voting Program’ at precinct polling places on Election Day, Tuesday, November 2, 2010. Volunteers will work a two-hour shift (3-5 p.m. or 5-7 p.m.) and will also need to attend a one-hour training session.

This is a great way to experience the excitement of kids as they learn about and have an opportunity to vote in Kids Voting Minneapolis. Kids Voting Minneapolis is a community-based nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization working in cooperation with the Minneapolis Public Schools to prepare 50,000 Minneapolis young people to be educated, informed voters. Kids Voting Minneapolis is empowering students with the skills and confidence to embrace civic involvement. Please contact Allison Stevens, allisonstevens@comcast.net, if you are interested in this opportunity.
