How do you join Site Council?
There are eight parent representatives on Site Council serving a two year term, with an option of serving a third year. There is always a combination of first year and second year members.
Each Spring the Site Council seeks new parent members by putting an announcement in The Connection and posting information on the LHCS web page. Interested parents will be asked to write a brief letter of introduction and interest. The nominating committee, the Site Council co-chairs, a parent representative and an administrative representative will review the pool of interested parents and strive for diversity based on both representation of lower campus, grades 4-5 and middle school and also representation of diverse life experience relevant to Site Council work.
