Halfway There, Read-a-Thon Olympians!

Is it time for a PEP talk?
Our K – 5 students are half way through the Read-a-Thon already! Week 3 is testing our Olympians to persevere through those pages and keep their eyes on the prize, the Gold! By now, the Olympians may need a pep talk every so often from their coaches. They are doing great!
The donations from our sponsors continue to come in! We received three $10 gift cards courtesy of Wild Rumpus. Thank you to Sheri Williams for coordinating the donation. Please support our favorite little book shop in Linden Hills when possible. Scholastic Books also shipped a big box of brand new books valued at $200 that are just waiting to be cracked open by their lucky winners. We love Scholastic!
Thank you to everyone that’s donated used books so far. The piles are starting to grow at both campuses but we still need more books to make the sale a fun experience for the students. Collection will continue until February 23. Books can be dropped off in the teacher lounges. The book sale will take place during the school day on February 28 and 29.
Find yourself missing the pledge or tally forms? How about the entire packet? Need more flames for the Lower Campus caldron? Coaches can rest easy. These can be found by clicking on the underlined links above.
Please contact one of the Olympic Officials for further questions or if you would like to donate prizes!
