Welcome to the 2012-2013 school year and 2nd grade in room 203.  I look forward to getting to know your child, and with your help, working to make this a successful and positive year for all.
 
I have been teaching since 1984. I have experience in teaching kindergarten, first grade, second grade, and third grade. Most of my expertise, however, is working with second grade students, families, and curriculum...and I love it.  (Learn more about Ms. Jurgens here.)

Postcard Project

One of the things we do in 2nd grade is to look at the map and learn about directions, map keys and important places....If your family travels during the school year, we would like you to send the class a postcard showing where you were.  Click here for more information and where to send the postcards.
