Family Vacations

In analyzing our attendance data, we have seen an increase in the number of students missing school for vacations. We ask families to schedule vacations during times when school is not in session (winter break, spring break, and other days off). We also encourage families not to schedule vacations during testing times. One of the reasons we send home next year’s school calendar at the end of the current school year is so families can plan around the district’s breaks and testing days. We recognize family vacation time is valuable; however, school attendance should come first. Please help improve our school’s attendance.

If a family is taking vacation during school time, the Family Activity Form should be sumitted to the office at least 10 days prior to the trip.
