Nancy Johnson - 1st Grade
On the North Shore

Hi !  I love teaching first graders.  Books are a joy to me.  I would like every child to love them as much as I do.  Always feel free to contact me about any concerns or questions.

Dear 102 Families,

Hello!  I am excited about starting a new school year.  It was nice meeting so many of you at the Open House.  I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning in Room 102.

Our Specialist Schedule is:

Monday- Music

Tuesday- Art

Wednesday and Thursday- Physical Education

Friday-Media

Parent Pickup this year will be at the corner of 40th and Drew, past the playground on the grass.  The teachers will walk all the children to the buses.  If you are a bit late, I will walk your child back to that corner after taking the rest of the class to their bus.  Please try to be there by 4pm.

Please be sure to check your child's backpack everyday.  If there is any homework or important papers from the day, it will be inside a homework folder.  When there is no folder in the backpack, there is no homework.  Whether the folder is there or not, I do expect students to be reading at home every night. Please return the folder every day.   We will be working on establishing this routine in the first week or two of school.

First grade is a fantastic time for growing and learning.  It is going to be a great year.  Always feel free to contact me about any concerns or with any questions.

I need your help!  No one signed up as my room rep.  Please consider being a co-rep with someone.
